It’s still the NBA preseason, and we have another juicy fight yet again. And no, this isn’t a skirmish like the one that happened between Draymond Green and Jarred Vanderbilt a few days ago. This new fight is far more physical and a bit uglier.

During the preseason clash between the Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Pelicans, a fight in the second quarter broke out between Rockets forward Amen Thompson and Pelicans diminutive guard Jose Alvarado. After a missed attempt by Jabari Smith Jr. from three, both Thompson and Alvarado tried to box out each other for the rebound.

Things got extra chippy on the play, and the fiasco was promptly shared on X by ‘Fullcourtpass.’
