(WNDU) - McDonald’s owner operators in Indiana will be raising funds for local high school athletic programs.

The High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

During this event, 184 schools in Indiana will earn 10% of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app.

Each locally owned McDonald’s chooses a high school to support. The chosen high schools receive at minimum $250.

“We are proud to be continuing this partnership with our local schools,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator Jay Okayama in a news release. “We’ve seen lots of success with the fundraiser in our restaurants, and have received great feedback from schools, too.
