From the moment freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood flipped his commitment to Michigan, there’s been pressure. That pressure attached itself almost instantly as he drew national attention with his decision. But that’s to be expected when the No. 1 overall recruit not only flips, but switches to a team that had been struggling to find consistency at the position.

Now acclimated with the Wolverines, that spotlight hasn’t gotten any less bright. Nearly every throw and decision Underwood makes is carefully dissected by watchful eyes. For most players, especially a freshman, that kind of attention could feel suffocating.
