Kupwara | : The Langate Forest Division Handwara of North Forest Circle Tuesday organized a environmental awareness programme and plantation drive at Poshnar Forest Magam to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Martyr Shaheed Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, Forester.

The event served as a potent convergence of environmental advocacy and a solemn tribute to the dedication of the forest frontline personnel and was attended by Conservator of Forests Kashmir North Circle Sopore, Irfan Ali Shah, and Environmentalist, Rakshanda Vishwanath.

The event commenced with a profound two-minute silence observed in honor of the late Shaheed Ghulam Nabi Sheikh.
