Kent Police is appealing for witnesses and information surrounding an incident in Chatham High Street which took place over the weekend in Kent. A man was reportedly taken to hospital after being punched by an unknown male.

Officers were called to Chatham High Street near Whittaker Street at around 12.30am on Saturday, October 11, where an unknown male reportedly punched another man as he walked down the street. He was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.

Kent Police said the suspect is believed to be in his early thirties, around 6ft tall and of slim build, wearing a plain white polo shirt and black tracksuit bottoms with a white line down the side. He had short black hair and a black goatee, it was reported.
