It's another calm and lovely weather day in the Tennessee Valley. High temperatures today and through Saturday will be well above average and in the mid-80s. Sunshine sticks around all day today and tomorrow, we'll keep a mix of clouds and sun Friday before more mostly clear skies return Saturday.

Our next pattern change is just days away. A powerful cold front bringing rain and strong storms will move into the area Saturday overnight and last with us through Sunday morning.

The front leaves us with Sunday high temperatures in the mid-70s and gradually cooling through the week to 70 degrees even. Say goodbye to the days of "False Fall" this cold front will usher the true chance of the seasons and cooler weather that's ours to keep.
