BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A few more quiet, warm, and dry days are in store before scattered showers and storms arrive ahead of the next cold front this weekend.

It’s another cool morning start, but afternoon heat continues with temperatures reaching the upper 80s. Sunny skies persist with no chance for rain.
HUMIDITY INCOMING
Today is the last day to enjoy the drier air that’s been in place. Humidity begins to rebound tomorrow as winds shift out of the south, pulling moisture back in from the Gulf.
WEEKEND RAIN
A few more dry days are expected before scattered showers and storms arrive this weekend ahead of the next cold front.
Once the front passes, mainly dry weather returns with another round of lower humidity.
