Srinagar, Oct 15: Srinagar Police have arrested three individuals in connection with an axe attack on a youth in Hilal Abad, Qamarwari, yesterday. The victim, Noman Yaqoob Khanday, was attacked near Haroon Bakery on October 14.

The victim’s father, Mohammad Yaqoob Khanday, reported the incident to Police Post Qamarwari, following which a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS 126(2), 115(2), and 109) was registered at Police Station Parimpora.

An intensive investigation was launched, including cordoning off areas, reviewing CCTV footage, and verifying vehicle details linked to the incident.
