The plant will help supply another new JBS plant in Ankeny that will make ready-to-eat sausage and bacon.
The new plant will help the town recover from the loss of its Tyson Fresh Meats pork plant, which closed in June 2024.
PERRY — JBS USA has broken ground for its “state-of-the-art” sausage making facility, celebrating with city and state leaders a “turning point” for the Perry community.
