BAXTER — A group of 4-H’ers from across central Minnesota came together this past weekend as they started a multi-month project aimed at making them better leaders through civic engagement.
On Saturday, Oct. 11, the 10 4-H’ers from across Crow Wing, (east and west) Otter Tail, Morrison, and Wadena counties gathered at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Baxter for their first meeting as they looked to get to know each other and themselves.
“We had the Zoom kick-off just last Monday, and went over the overview of the program,” said Cassie Girling, the program lead with the University of Minnesota Extension. “This is our first in-person retreat where they'll get to know each other.
