The surroundings of the Baksa District Jail (Musalpur, Assam) turned volatile as five individuals accused in the mysterious death of singer Zubeen Garg — including Shyamkanu Mahanta and Siddharth Sharma — were escorted into the facility under heavy police protection.
A large police convoy arrived at the jail under tight security. However, as the vehicles approached the entrance, a crowd of enraged locals gathered and began hurling stones and other objects at the convoy.
