BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Ice at Canalside, a popular downtown public skating rink in the winter, will open for the season on Nov. 21.

The ice will have open skating hours, special events including Harry Potter Night, Pokémon and Silent Discos. There will also be learn to skate lessons on Saturday mornings and Kids Club Sundays.

The ice will also be open on Thanksgiving for the first time, with special hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Regular hours are as follows: • Tuesdays: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. • Wednesdays: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. • Thursdays: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. • Fridays: 1 p.m. - 10 p.m. • Saturdays: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. • Sundays: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
