Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien and her co-star ex's family have rushed to support her daughter as she seemingly prepares for her next big move.

Fans best know the actress for playing Sarah Platt in the ITV soap, having made her debut more than 20 years ago. But in more recent times that her daughter, Scarlett Thomas, has been following in her footsteps.

Sixteen-year-old Scarlett, who is mum Tina's daughter with her Corrie co-star ex Ryan Thomas, is best known for appearing in Waterloo Road where she plays Izzy Charles, the daughter of Donte Charles, who is famously played by her uncle, Adam Thomas.

But it was last month that the teenager seemingly revealed her next step could be in music as she posted a number of photos of herself in a studio.
