Cricket icon Freddie Flintoff has paid a heartfelt tribute to his close friend Ricky Hatton , expressing the guilt he felt following his death.

Former boxer Hatton was tragically found dead at his Hyde home on 14 September, aged 46.

His manager discovered him unresponsive, and while coroners are still determining the final cause of death.

Flintoff was among those who attended Hatton's funeral service earlier this month, and has now shared his tribute.

In an emotional interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, he confessed: "It's quite close to home in a lot of ways.
