ADRIAN – New Boston Huron’s boy’s soccer team is ranked No. 2 in the state for Division 2.

The Chiefs showed why in the finals of the district hosted by Adrian, rolling over Huron League foe Airport 8-0 on Thursday, Oct. 16.

“Normally in the district finals you would not assume so, but our guys were just ready to play,” Huron coach Matt Lividini said when asked if the lopsided score surprised him. “They were going full speed. They were playing like the No. 2 team in the state.”

Ian Petrick and Johann Vasquez-Martinez led the attack with two goals and an assist each. Matthew Hussy also scored twice with Mason Jasinski and Jordan Stasak recording the other goals.
