SAINT MATTHEWS, Ky. —
A longtime leader at Trinity High School is retiring.
Dr. Dan Zoeller, the school’s longest-serving principal, will step down at the end of the 2025–26 school year.
Founded in 1953, Trinity in St. Matthews is the largest private or Catholic high school in Kentucky, with an enrollment of nearly 1,200 young men.
Zoeller has been with Trinity since 1991 and is credited with launching the school’s house system, now a national model for student leadership and community.
“To have a leadership role at Trinity has been one of the great privileges of my lifetime," Zoeller said in a news release.
