SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Wednesday, Utah! At this point in the month, Salt Lake City has broken the record for the "wettest October on record," with more precipitation today and through Thursday. A soggy and cool Pacific storm started moving in last night and will cross Utah bringing wet weather for our Wednesday. A line of showers and thunderstorms will develop across north and central Utah this morning and will sweep across the state between 6am- 2pm. These storms could produce areas of locally heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning. The wind will continue to howl outside of any thunderstorms through Wednesday night.
