SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day is October 15, and Siouxlanders are invited to take time on Wednesday to commemorate the special meaning behind the day.

Across Iowa, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, a "Wave of Light" ceremony will take place, allowing community members to reflect and remember those lost in infancy or during pregnancy.

Of the four ceremonies taking place in Iowa, one is located at Miracle Field in Sioux City. During the event, locals will light candles at the same time to honor the lives of those impacted by this type of loss.
