HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A locomotive that has spent many years at the Huntington Railroad Museum is now heading to its new home, albeit slowly.

The former Chesapeake and Ohio Railway steam locomotive has been donated to the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum in Sugarcreek, Ohio.

The engine has been displayed outdoors in Huntington since 1962, and although it has been repainted, the elements have taken their toll and rusting has affected the interior.

It will be stored indoors at its new home.

Because of the sheer size of the locomotive, it will take anywhere from five to seven months to relocate the entire thing.
