EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville Police are investigating a stabbing that took place on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, officers were dispatched to a local hospital to investigate a battery.

Police say they discovered that a man had been stabbed in the head.

Officers say they were able to locate the scene where the stabbing took place, and that the Adult Investigations Unit took over the case.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no arrests were immediately made.
