A heartless carer who cheated almost £300,000 from a pensioner before fleeing to Tenerife was caught on camera attempting to isolate the retired accountant from her family.
Pamela Gwinnett, 62, made false allegations against Joan Green's family, accusing them of stealing and grooming the pensioner.
However, investigations showed it was Gwinnett who was abusing her position as Lasting Power of Attorney to steal money from Mrs Green.
But when her lies came crashing down, Gwinnett fled to Tenerife to live off the money she stole, where she remains. "The fact she is on the run in Tenerife just shows she has a complete disregard to the law", Mrs Green's grandson David said.
