Picket lines at Algonquin College and La Cité were lifted Wednesday after college support workers and the province reached a tentative agreement. Article content

About 10,000 full-time support workers at 24 colleges across the province went on strike on Sept. 11. The College Employer Council (CEC), the province’s negotiating agent, and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) reached the agreement after a weekend-long mediation session with mediator William Kaplan.
