As a constituent of Rep. John James, I am deeply concerned by his silence on the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. I am even more alarmed by how the government shutdown is being used as a political tool to delay a vote that survivors and the public overwhelmingly support.
Currently, 217 members of Congress from both parties have signed a discharge petition to force a vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This bill would require the Department of Justice to release all documents related to Epstein’s crimes.
