CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office announced charges against two juveniles following an assault on a 5-year-old.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the incident happened in a field near East 148th St. and St. Clair Ave. in Cleveland last month.

A 10-year-old female and a 9-year-old male are facing charges, the prosecutor announced.

Both face the following charges: • 1 count of attempted murder • 4 counts of rape • 2 counts of felony assault • 1 count of kidnapping • 1 count of strangulation
