The last few days have been gorgeous with morning temperatures in the 50s and 60s and afternoon highs in the 80s! The pleasant weather continues thanks to an area of high pressure. We will see plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

As we look ahead to the next few weeks and even months, what can we expect? The Climate Prediction Center releases weekly and seasonal temperature and precipitation outlooks for the United States. As we head through the end of October, here’s what the forecast entails for the Southeast.

Temperatures are expected to be near-average if not slightly above average over the next few weeks. Today’s average high at Jacksonville International Airport is 81 degrees and will drop to 77 degrees at the end of the month.
