Four trailblazing women will speak at Outrageous Oral 35 presented by The Dallas Way with Dallas Voice editor Tammye Nash moderating.

The panel includes Candy Marcum, Lory Masters, Jeanne Rubin and Louise Young.

Marcum is a counselor who founded Oak Lawn Counseling Center, the first facility in Dallas targeting the mental health of gays and lesbians.

Masters was an influential real estate broker. She sold so many properties in northwest Dallas that Google maps refers to that portion of the city as Loryland.

Jeanne Rubin founded the first LGBTQ organization in Dallas’ suburbs connecting people living north of LBJ Freeway.

Louise Young helped found numerous Dallas organizations and for her work for the Democratic party was part of President Clinton’s inaugural parade.
