Well, well, well. The penultimate episode of Gen V season two threw us all for a loop with a twist involving Cipher and Thomas Godolkin. We called it pretty early on that the man in the hyperbaric chamber was the founder of God U. But what we didn’t quite call was Cipher not being who he said he was in such a shocking way. We discover that Cipher is actually not the one calling the shots at all, and his name isn’t even Cipher. Thomas Godolkin was controlling an innocent man’s body, forcing him to be a puppet.

In the episode, Marie and Cate head back to Cipher’s place to look for Thomas Godolkin’s body. Marie hopes to heal him so he can help with taking down Cipher. Marie accepts Polarity’s full help but still doesn’t trust Cate enough for her assistance. She also prevents her sister Ann
