Bihar assembly election: After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United) (JDU), the LJP (RV) on Wednesday released its first list of candidates for 14 assembly seats in Bihar. The party, led by Union Minister Chirag Paswan, is contesting polls on 29 seats as part of the NDA’ seat-sharing deal.

The BJP was the first party of the NDA bloc to release the list of candidates and so far, it has released two lists of 86 candidates. Both BJP and JDU are fighting elections on 101 seats each, while HAM and RLM have been allotted six seats each.
