ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) — An Elmira Police Officer who has been on suspension for several months was arrested Wednesday on felony and misdemeanor charges after an incident involving the alleged release of confidential information over the summer, according to information from the Elmira Police Department and New York State Police.
Shyonna M. Pacheco, 26, of Pine City, was charged on Wednesday, Oct. 15, on the following charges: • Hindering prosecution in the second degree, a class E felony. • Two counts of official misconduct, a class A misdemeanor. • Two counts of obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
