BOSTON —
Smoke from an electrical issue forced the evacuation Wednesday of a building on the campus of Boston University Medical School.
Fire officials said smoke was detected on several floors of the Housman Medical Research Center at 778 Harrison Ave.
The school said the incident started with an electrical issue in the basement of the building.
Evacuations are underway, and there are no reports of any injuries.
Eversource has been called to the scene.
WCVB will have more information when it becomes available.
