Barbara Palvin is ready to soar.

As the supermodel prepares to put on her wings for the Oct. 15 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show four months after undergoing surgery for endometriosis —which causes endometrial tissue to grow outside of the uterus— she shared an update on her health.

"I had the surgery in June and it's like day and night," Barbara exclusively told E! News backstage. "The difference is so crazy. Obviously, it's something that's still very under-researched."

Although she noted that the surgery —which traditionally involves removing the endometriosis lesions and scar tissue— was "not a cure" for the condition , she emphasized that it "helped the symptoms."
