WHITESTOWN, Ind. (WLFI) — A traffic stop late Monday night sends send an Indianapolis resident to the Boone County jail on drug charges. Officers from the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department stopped a black Chevrolet sedan on Southbound I-65. During the stop the officers detected a strong marijuana odor, prompting a search of the sedan.

Police found a black duffel bag in the trunk containing ten large, silver-wrapped packages. Field tests confirmed the packages held cocaine, weighing about 24.5 pounds, with an estimated street value of $176,000.

The WMPD arrested 36-year-old, Tionia Britany Miles, of Indianapolis. She was taken to Boone County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing in cocaine, a Level 2 felony.
