LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
The Department of Homeland Security started rolling out a video last week to be played at airports about the government shutdown.
However, many airports are refusing to play it.
The video features Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blaming Democrats for the shutdown and its impacts on Transportation Security Administration operations.
The government shutdown started on Oct. 1 with both parties at a stalemate on how to reopen it.
According to the Associated Press , about 61,000 of the TSA's 64,130 employees are required to continue working during the shutdown.
There have been some disruptions for some airport operations, but that has not been the case in Louisville thus far.
