KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The beautiful sunshine will be here for the next few days before a cold front works through East TN, bringing along showers and storms this weekend.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and warm! High temperatures will reach the upper 70s and low 80s area wide. By tonight, temperatures will fall back into the low 50s with a mostly clear sky.

THURSDAY: We will keep the sunshine for Thursday, but we will feel a tad cooler in the afternoon thanks to a dry cold front passing. Temperatures will in the middle 70s in the afternoon.

FRIDAY: A few clouds will work in Friday afternoon with temperatures in the middle 70s. Friday night football looks pleasant with temperatures in the upper 60s with a partly cloudy sky.
