Less than a week after getting its first commitment for the Class of 2026, Pitt men’s basketball has doubled up. Four-star forward Chase Foster from IMG Academy took to CBS Sports YouTube on Wednesday to announce he’d be joining the Panthers.

The 6-foot-9, 200-pound power forward has seen his stock rise in recent months, climbing to No. 38 nationally on Rivals and No. 42 in the 247Sports Composite. Rivals also ranks Foster as the No. 6 power forward and the No. 5 player in Florida, continuing a surge that’s made him one of the most coveted big men in the class.

Originally from Baltimore, Foster led Edmondson-Westside High School to two Maryland Class 1A state titles and a Baltimore City Championship before transferring to IMG Academy in Florida. He also competes for Team Melo in the Nike
