SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Department of Public Health said its mobile unit will be providing measles vaccines in the Upstate amid an outbreak.
The mobile unit will be at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Spartanburg on the following dates and times:
October 16: 2-6 p.m.
October 17: 1-4 p.m.
Officials have confirmed 16 cases of measles in South Carolina so far this year. Twelve of those cases are part of an outbreak in Spartanburg County.
A child was also exposed to the measles at a gym in Greenville, according to officials.
