ROSWELL, Ga. — A developer announced Wednesday it has approval for a mixed-use neighborhood and "connected retail village" in downtown Roswell.

The Atlantic Companies issued a releasing announcing the seven-acre Hillrose Market development, which will feature roughly 150 living units. The release said it will be located on Hill Street adjacent to Roswell City Hall and "transform underutilized land between Atlanta and Ellis Streets."

Construction is due to begin next year, the release said, with the first phases being completed in 2027.
