Russia’s mysterious ‘Doomsday Radio’ has briefly come to life to transmit two chilling messages. ‌

Radio station UVB-76 is a Russian shortwave radio which has been broadcasting a low-frequency signal since the 1970s but no one really knows its exact purpose. Due to its ominous, repeating buzz and occasional bursts of speech, many have speculated it’s a Cold War-era military communication system. ‌

Its activities are traditionally associated with the military , and ‘buzzer fans’
