Japan has sent a stern warning to artificial intelligence company , OpenAI. The country has threatened legal action as anime videos have been circulating online via the video making programme, Sora 2. ‌

According to ITmedia , Minister of State for Intellectual Property Strategy Minoru Kiuchi confirmed at a press conference on October 10 that the government has requested OpenAI “not to engage in actions that could constitute copyright infringement".
