AUSTIN (KXAN) — Buc-ee's may be the king of convenience stores to Texans, but when it comes to nationwide customer satisfaction, the travel center chain has fallen a couple of rankings.

The 2025 Convenience Store Study by the American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) placed Buc-ee's at No. 5 on the list of top-rated convenience store chains in terms of customer satisfaction.

Buc-ee's got an ACSI score of 79 out of a possible 100. Last year, it got an 80, placing it at No. 3 on the 2024 list. KwikTrip, Sheetz, Wawa, and QuikTrip took the No. 1-4 spots on this year's list.

According to ACSI's study, the convenience store industry's customer satisfaction has "remained stable" with an ACSI score of 76 this year.
