“ Splinter Cell: Deathwatch ” has officially been renewed for a second season at Netflix .

The news comes one day after the series premiere on Oct. 14. Variety first reported that a “Splinter Cell” animated series was in the works back in 2020, at which time it was reported that Netflix had given the show a two-season order.

Based on the “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell” video game franchise, the animated series stars Liev Schreiber as Sam Fisher, with Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Zinnia Mckenna. Additional voice cast members include Janet Varney, Helen Hong, Kari Wahlgren, Joel Oulette, Aleks Le, Kiff VandenHeuvel, Bella Dayne, and Navid Negahban.
