GREENVILLE, S.C. —

The four-time Grammy-winning country star Keith Urban has canceled his upcoming concert in Greenville, South Carolina.

On Wednesday, Bon Secours Wellness Arena announced that Urban canceled his performance in Greenville, which was scheduled for Thursday night.

Laryngologist Dr. Gaelyn Garrett, from the Vanderbilt Voice Center, advised Urban to cancel due to laryngitis, which began earlier this week.

Urban has been placed on complete vocal rest and Dr. Garrett is optimistic that he will be back onstage for the High and Alive tour's final scheduled stop in Nashville on Friday night.
