Suspect leads authorities on chase on I-75 in Alachua County; traffic delayed

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Authorities say a high-speed chase on Interstate 75 ended when the suspect crashed in Alachua County on Wednesday evening.

Alachua County Sheriff’s officials confirm the fleeing suspect drove off the roadway and crashed near the Alachua/Columbia County line.

Traffic was delayed on I-75 as emergency crews responded to the scene.
