Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott has not practiced the last two days and is questionable to play against the Cincinnati Bengals with a personal issue. Elliott missed two games with a knee injury this season.
He did not practice the last two days while being designated as ‘rest’ by the team, until popping up with the personal designation on Wednesday. Now, he is in danger of missing the team’s Thursday Night Football game.
If he is out, that would give way to Chuck Clark and Jabrill Peppers having bigger roles in his absence. Clark was inactive last week while Peppers played ten defensive snaps. Peppers started against the New England Patriots in Elliott’s place.
Elliott has been a key communication hub and presence for the Steelers on the back end of their defense. Since his
