Portable waist fans sold on a TV shopping channel have been recalled because the lithium-ion batteries can overheat while charging and start a fire.

The Living Glow portable waist fans were sold on HSN online and the HSN TV network from May 2025 through July 2025 for between $20 and $25, according to an announcement with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The fans were manufactured by Guangzhou Jiguang Lighting Co. Ltd., of Guangzhou, China, which has received reports of the fans melting or catching fire. There have been no injuries reported.

The five-in-one fan has the model number CP-WFLED01. It features five fan speeds, a three-mode flashlight and could be used as a power bank.
