KELOWNA — Airports in Kelowna and Victoria have confirmed their public information systems were hacked on Tuesday, after social media posts depicted pro-Hamas messages on flight information screens and chants being played on public-announcement systems.

Kelowna International Airport says some flights were delayed after the hack on Tuesday, when the posts showed terminal screens displaying a message saying “Israel lost the war, Hamas won,” and calling U.S. President Donald Trump a pig.

Other videos depict slogans being played over the Kelowna airport’s public announcement system, and also at the Harrisburg International Airport in Pennsylvania.
