TOWN OF DANE (WKOW) — Officials have identified the 69-year-old driver who died after a head-on crash in the Town of Dane on Saturday.

The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office identified the driver as James F. Prieve, of Lodi.

The crash happened at about 6:35 p.m. Saturday on STH 113 at Lee Road.

A vehicle traveling southbound crossed the center line, colliding head-on with a northbound vehicle. Prieve was in the northbound vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 67-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition.

The crash is under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
