BELTON, Texas (KWKT) — Actor Rudy Youngblood, who starred in Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto," was arrested Wednesday in Belton, Texas, police have confirmed.

According to police, an officer had stopped to talk with the owner of a vehicle parked near a Lake Belton boat ramp at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday.

The officer learned the man, identified as Youngblood, had an outstanding warrant from the Travis County Sheriff's Office for assault of a family or household member, impending breathing/circulation.

While taking Youngblood into custody, police say they found a white crystalline substance in the man's possession.
