HAVELOCK, N.C. (WITN) - A Havelock man was arrested after authorities found drugs and guns during a search of his home.
Havelock police, along with Carteret County deputies, searched Desmond Jones’ home on Monday.
They seized around two ounces of crack cocaine, 42 ecstasy pills, and three guns.
Jones was charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule-I controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The 46-year-old is being held in jail on a $150,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
