LEWISBURG — All charges filed against a Mifflinburg man accused of raping a 9-year-old girl are headed to the Union County Court of Common Pleas.

Following a preliminary hearing Tuesday, Mifflinburg District Judge Jeffrey Mensch determined that all charges filed against Melvin Casey Ross, 52, of Dice Road, Mifflinburg, were held for court. He was charged with six felony counts of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault of a juvenile under the age of 16, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a juvenile under the age of 13, indecent assault of a juvenile under the age of 13 and corruption of minors; and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.
